Cozy Maternity in the Winter Hills

One of my favorite parts of photography is welcoming back families I have worked with before. This sweet family booked me for another special chapter, a maternity session to celebrate their baby girl on the way.

We met in an open space surrounded by California’s rolling hills at the very start of winter. The air was cool, but the light was soft and inviting. Mom stayed warm and stylish in a cozy sweater dress, perfectly suited for the season.

Their son quickly became the star of the session. I structured each moment around his energy and comfort, making sure he felt involved from start to finish. We made silly faces, let him lead games with mom and dad, and created space for him to shine. His laughter and big personality brought so much joy into every frame.

The results were exactly what we had hoped for, a mix of tender family moments, playful interaction, and beautiful light. The images told the story of a family ready to grow, with love and excitement for what is to come.
