A Pond-side Reunion with Familiar Faces

There is something so special about photographing the same family year after year. I have known this sweet crew since they were a family of four, and now I have the joy of capturing them as a family of five. Each time we meet, I am reminded how quickly children grow and how precious it is to hold on to each stage along the way.

Although they have moved farther from me, distance was not going to get in the way of our time together. I made a special trip up near Sacramento to make sure we could keep this tradition going. Our location was peaceful and full of charm, with a beautiful pond as the backdrop.

The sunlight danced across the water, creating a glow that wrapped the whole scene in warmth. As we made our way along the path, we spotted the sweetest little bunny, a small but magical moment that made the kids light up.

We spent the session laughing, exploring, and enjoying the calm beauty around us. The images tell the story of a family that has grown not only in number but in love, and I am so grateful to continue being a part of their journey.
